We had some rain this morning so everything is wet. That’s okay because we need it desperately. But, what do you tell your two-year-old when she could live on the slide at the church playground? I admit, that I am not great about getting her outside long enough each day—maybe if I got better at cleaning my house, I wouldn’t have fifteen things to do first before we go out. Of course, I usually just give up and take her out at some point, but I need to do more creative things with her. Any ideas? There is sidewalk chalk and bubbles…we have those, but what else?
While we’re at it, what are some great indoor things for two-year-olds to do? You can only watch so many Veggie Tales and Backyardigans before going insane, even if I do know all of the lyrics to most of them!

Don’t forget, you only have three more days to get your hands on an August issue of All You magazine from Wal-Mart. Becky tells you why you need it, here! I bought five, myself!
I’ve just recently started reading SimpleMom’s blog since she has this awesome giveaway that ends tonight. Her article today is similar to the blog posts I linked you to the other day. It’s on getting things done and being a parent. Read about it here and be sure to check out her other posts, as well.
I just found out about the best giveaway over at SimpleMom. It’s a sweet gift basket filled with goodies that we moms can all identify with. All you have to do is leave her a comment about what you love about the fall. There are more ways to enter, as well. Read her post to find out how!

Thanks to my marvelous husband, I am now the proud owner of my first piece of Tupperware. His mom insisted that I needed the gallon pitcher when she found out that I didn’t own one. Not being one to make us go into debt deeper, I laughed it off and assured everyone that I was fine without one. But, my dear sweet Stevan decided that he could and would get me one without my knowing. I got to pick it up a couple of days ago! How fun! It’s not the Tupperware itself, of course, but the fact that Stevan used his Cha Cha money to get it for ME! So thanks, Babe! Thanks for using your hard-earned spending money for me. I love you.
Not sure what Cha Cha is? Check out Stevan’s explanation here on stevansheets.com and be sure to sign up under him if you want to be a guide, too!
I thought it was quite interesting that two different moms wrote about “Having it all together” today. Both have wisdom in their posts so check out each of them!

After reading both of them, I am glad my morning and early afternoon was spent outside coloring with sidewalk chalk, bubbles and the playground. (Though, I did put a load of laundry in before I went outside and two more are ready now.)
I hate what my site looks like right now, but I have yet to find something I really like or that Stevan likes, too (I suppose I should trust his judgment since he is the web guy). Without pictures of Ella, it just seems ugly.
